As I have said many, many times... It is our staff, our 'family' of caregiver specialists, who make C & W's Rustic Hollow Shelter what it is today. The quality of care of the felines in residence depends on them. The health of the felines in residence depend on their ability to spot a feline in their area who has any health issues starting. The cleanliness and sanitation of the cat's houses depend on them. AND, most importantly, the quality of care they give in love to their small 'charges' is of the utmost importance. The fringe benefits are also many: from volunteering their time to better their building to handling minor repairs and major projects and remodeling.... our staff is invaluable. They strive for teamwork. That is what it is all about.  And this April, 2017, I applaud the caregiver team we have below for their teamwork and quality of work and their care of the cats. This 2018 we truly have a GREAT CAREGIVER TEAM with a very strong core team to manage staff, supplies, payroll and more. Way to go Rustic Hollow!!!

JUDY HOY has been a part of Rustic Hollow since the beginning and before. She also helped care for my parents in their home during my father's long illness many years ago. As you can see the furs love working with Judy in The Kat Barn where she has been a long time caregiver. Judy semi-retired in 2017 to have a second knee surgery. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Brandy Hudson

Brandy joined our team in March of 2018 and already knows most of the names of the cats in her care. She is pictured here with Amber in Bradley's House. Her love for cats makes her a great addition to our team! Welcome Brandy!!!

ANGELA MINNAERT

Angie is the main caregiver of the furs in Bradley's House. she is pictured with Big Tom. She always takes time out to hold a kitty who comes to her for loving and is very generous with treats and toys daily too.

Picture
LAURENA HENNINGS
Laurena is one of our newer caregivers at Rustic Hollow and we are glad to have her on our team!
Picture
KEISHA STOUGH
Keisha started working with us when she was 15 years old, then went on after graduation to continue her career in the animal field training with veterinarians and working at a large humane society. She started working at Rustic Hollow in 2006 where she took on the job of Veterinary Technician and is now our Staff Supervisor as well. She is also a member of our board of directors.

CHAD RICH
What can I say about Chad.
Chad graduated from High School  in 2013. He has worked for Rustic Hollow since he was in the 7th grade. He currently works three jobs and still finds time for racing cars with his dad. He says he plans on always being a part of Rustic Hollow.
He is our weekend warrior.

 JAMIE GRIFFIN
Jamie has worked at C & W for several years, taking a year off, and returning in 2016. We were glad to have her back with us.

LIZ WEGNER (Left in photo)
Liz started working at R. H. in 2014. She studied to be a Vet Assistant and works closely with Keisha, our Vet Technician. In 2017 she became a weekend Supervisor and also Asst. Supervisor during the week with Keisha. She is a high energy kind of gal and her love of animals is evident not only at work but at home as well.

JASON NELSON

Jason joined our team in
2016 and he is a keeper.
Jason is a dog person,
but the cats said they'll
ignore that because he
is good to them too.

TEVAN DUCKETT
Tevan joined our Rustic Hollow team in November of 2017. Perhaps I should say he is 're-joining' our team. Tevan worked at Rustic Hollow YEARS ago when we were first getting started. It's  nice to have you back Tevan. He is pictured with his son Tanner during Open House in August 2017.

 RUSSELL VANBROCKLIN ('RUSTY')
Rusty  is picture below holding a Kat Barn kitty during the remodeling of the ceiling work in May. Rusty's wife Dannielle also works for us and Rusty would come out and volunteer in the mornings awhile and decided he would like to join our team part time as he also works third shift on another job. He has been a huge help. Rusty does a lot of other handyman projects as well. He is pictured with Liz Wegner, left and volunteer Connie Phillis on the right. Rusty still helps out on weekends when he is not working. And visits his favorite kitty, Felicity.

DANNIELLE VANBROCKLIN
(and Bandit)
We welcomed Dannielle to our R. Hollow team in January 2017. Dannielle's husband Russsell ('Rusty') is a frequest volunteer and lover of the kitties too.

GINA DEVRIES
Gina started working for Rustic Hollow in 2018. One of her first comments was "I don't like cats-I'm a dog person.' Well, she has proved herself wrong on that statement. She had never been around cats, just dogs. She is totally convinced now she has 'joined the club' of crazy cat lovers at Rustic Hollow and has a way with several of the feral cats who Gina is now able to touch and has gained their trust.
